Desiccant

Silica Gel Desiccant

Silica Gel Desiccant is the most common desiccant, appearing as semi-transparent granules. It is produced by precipitating silicates with acid or ammonium salts and then activating the resulting granular substance at high temperatures. Due to the porous structure of these granules, they possess a large adsorption surface area, allowing them to adsorb many substances. Because of this characteristic, silica gel is widely used for moisture absorption.

Clay Desiccant

Clay Desiccant is a naturally occurring mineral soil with stable color and properties, neutral and non-toxic. When dried, it exhibits moisture-absorbing properties. Its characteristics make it particularly suitable for use in food packaging as a food-grade desiccant.

Natural Mineral Desiccant

Natural Mineral desiccant is processed from natural mineral materials, and its solid particles do not liquefy. It exhibits stable and rapid moisture absorption. Due to its unique natural and environmentally friendly advantages, it is increasingly being used in environmentally conscious countries such as Europe and the United States.

Quick Lime Desiccant

Quick Lime, which appears as white or gray-white chunks, absorbs moisture from the air. It is commonly used as a desiccant for low moisture content foods. Once it absorbs water, it transforms into powdered calcium hydroxide, also known as hydrated lime. Therefore, once it becomes powdered, it indicates that it can no longer absorb moisture.

Molecular Sieves Desiccant

Molecular Sieves typically have a beige or reddish-brown appearance and are commonly found in spherical or cylindrical shapes.

Moisture-Free Desiccant

Moisture-Free, a high-performance desiccant, can achieve a maximum moisture absorption rate of 250%. It adopts a completely neutral formula and has passed toxicity testing by the Food Research Institute.

Columnar Desiccant

Columnar desiccant is a desiccant designed to prevent accidental ingestion. It features a hard outer shell design that is resistant to deformation from squeezing, reducing the risk of children ingesting it inadvertently.

Deodorizing Desiccant

Deodorizing desiccants are made with wood-based activated carbon or coconut shell activated carbon. Verified by a third-party inspection agency in Japan, they exhibit an exceptionally strong adsorption capacity for sulfides and ammonia water. They effectively absorb odors produced by plastic bottles, peculiar odors from specific medications, and various other bothersome odors, while also achieving a drying effect.

Adhesive Desiccant

Adhesive desiccants are desiccants with adhesive backing, offering options for transparent and non-transparent functionality. They can be paired with various special packaging materials to meet specific needs for dust-free, high moisture permeability, and distinguishable requirements.

Packaging Version

ClearSea Chemical's desiccant packaging materials are divided into PET/OPP, TYVEK, non-woven fabric, and cotton paper. PET/OPP material is the most widely used desiccant packaging material. TYVEK material is a patented paper from DuPont, USA. Non-woven fabric material has high breathability, while cotton paper material offers good quality at a reasonable price.
